Correlate beautiful vs. Kitsch picture taking exercise with “data collection”, “observation”, “abstraction” and “awareness”.

First I searched beautiful and kitsch and get information about them. Then I observed around the campus to take pictures of the scenes which I like and don’t like. Actually there were several places that I was not so happy to see in our campus but it was more difficult decision to choose my beautiful photo. I finally decided the photo of one of our schools’ colorful trees. Of course, as most of the brands of arts photographing also differs from one to another.

What does “sequential” mean?

Sequential means things following in a sequence. It is a method which tests a statistical hypothesis by deciding on a sequence of sample whether or not accept the hypothesis, or to keep sampling.

What does “iterative” mean?

Iterative means repetition of an action. If desired results were not achieved tasks are iterated again and again until the favored outcome obtained.

What is a “life cycle”?


Life cycle is the time period from the beginning of a material, system, business, product to its final position. To talk about products, a new product starts a sequence of stages from introduction to growth, maturity, and finally when it completes its life cycle, it loses its functional activity, therefore, decline.

What does “relevance/relevant” mean?

Relevance means how the purpose of a project and the plan that had been made matches. When the aims and the requests are clear the project will be more relevant.
