What does “paradigm” mean?

Paradigm means scientific success which is accepted as universal for a specific time. Paradigm should be brand new to be source of the future studies. Paradigm’s origin is a ancient greek word, paradeigma and this word became common after Thomas Khun’s book The Structure of Scientific Revolution.
